Echoes of Hope: Navigating Autism in Nigeria is a short documentary film that speaks about the management of Autism and also the experiences of special needs parents, caregivers, professionals and school owners in Nigeria. The documentary features special needs parents detailing their experience of how they had dealt with the news of the diagnosis. It also features special needs schools like Patrick Speech and languages center, the first Autism Intervention Centre in Nigeria and The Learning Place Centre, with the voiceover done by self-advocate and voice over artist, Remi Olutimayin who is also on the spectrum.


This documentary film is a collaborative effort of Oluwatoyin Odunuyi, the founder of Your safe space NG, a support group created for neurotypical siblings and, Solape Azazi, the founder of Cradle Lounge Special Initiative, a NGO set up to increase awareness and promote inclusion of individuals living with Autism.
