Echoes of Hope: Navigating Autism in Nigeria is a short documentary film that speaks about the management of Autism and also the experiences of special needs parents, caregivers, professionals and school owners in Nigeria. The documentary features special needs parents detailing their experience of how they had dealt with the news of the diagnosis. It also features special needs schools like Patrick Speech and languages center, the first Autism Intervention Centre in Nigeria and The Learning Place Centre, with the voiceover done by self-advocate and voice over artist, Remi Olutimayin who is also on the spectrum.

We are thrilled to welcome two incredible specialists as contributors to the Bloom Buddy Parent Support Group! Together, they will be sharing expert insights, resources, and thought-led content to support you on your journey as parents raising amazing neurodiverse children.


Solape Azazi is a passionate autism advocate, International Behavior Analyst (IBA), and the Executive Director of Cradle Lounge Special Needs Initiative (http://www.cradlelounge.org/). As an author, documentary producer, and parent navigator, she has dedicated her career to raising awareness, improving access to autism services, and shaping policies that promote inclusion in Nigeria.


Adeola Folorunso is a global health advocate and the founder of Matermental (http://matermental.com/), an NGO focused on mental health and well-being for all. As an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), she leverages evidence-based insights to create awareness and advocate for inclusive health policies and neurodivergent support.
