Sam is a trained Speech Therapist with an MSc Comm. Therapy and Disability Studies. Sam is passionate about helping individuals with learning and developmental disabilities develop functional skills in their areas of skills deficit. He continues to leverage his 6+ years of experience and education in communication therapy and disability studies in supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders, speech and language disorders, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours. Conducting direct observation assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), use of Augmented and Assistive Communication (AAC), parent’s training, and providing child advocacy services are some of his core skills.
